Good Habits

We should follow the basic good habits. Good working habits help us grow into good citizens. Good working habits help us to keep fit and grow well. Children with good character or habits are loved by all.


Good Eating Habits

We should follow good eating habits.

Some good eating habits that we should always keep in mind are given below.

Wash your hands properly before and after every meal.

Do not waste food.

Eat from your own and clean plate.

Eat slowly and chew the food properly.

Drink plenty of water daily.

Do not eat stale and left over food.

Eat your meal at a fixed time.                                                                                   

Do not talk while eating.            

Do not leave food in your plate.

Keep your mouth closed while chewing food.

Do not overeat.                                                     

Do not eat junk food.

 

On the Road

Some of the important good or disciplined habits we should follow while going on the road are given below.

Do not play on the road.

Do not spit on the road.

Do not throw rubbish or garbage on the road.

Do not throw pointed things on the road.

Do not throw peels of fruits like banana on the road.

Throw all the wastes in the dustbin only.

Use zebra crossing while crossing the road.


Note: Zebra crossing is a place on a road across which wide black and white lines are painted. It is used to cross the road.

 

Some more important good habits

Keep your classroom clean. Do not throw rubbish here and there. Use dustbin for throwing wastes. Do not damage the school property. Do not write on the walls.

Close the water tap after use.

Do not use a roadside as a toilet.

Switch off the lights and fans when you leave the room.

Do not make a noise in the class and at home.

Do not harm plants. Do not pluck flowers.

Do not bite your nails with your teeth.

Use your own clean handkerchief while coughing or sneezing.
